You beat me to it. I hate it when men say that women have 'the real power'. We don't. End of. In fact, as we see in the US right now, we have less and less power with every day.

Women who 'rock the cradle' or are the 'power behind the throne' may wield power in their own families but women are not the power holders in our wider society . It also begs the question - What of women who don't have children or a powerful spouse in whose ear they whisper?
