Which, as another commenter has said, is precisely what women need to do sometimes. We experience some pretty unbelievable stuff at the hands of sexists; sometimes it’s hard for us to believe what happens and we just need to talk about it, in an effort to process it.
If you don’t want to accept that, or be a part of that, fine; step aside.
And know that what you’re doing when you insist on the right to “ask questions, express support, clarify YOUR misunderstandings” is centering yourself in the exchange.
That’s not actually being a real ally.
