When railing against the patriarchy most women have also been pointing out that it doesn't serve most men well either. You keep saying "society" amd "people" when you talk of what's been happening to men.

We live in a patriarchy. It's built by men, and for some men. But as you point out, it delivers impossible standards, and when men fail to reach them, it gets nasty.

The pendulum hasn't swung "too far" in the other direction because women still don't have parity; men are just getting upset that their unearned privilege is being challenged.

Not many women say "No good can come from men" or "We don't care about men". I assure you. Most of us have men in our lives whom we love and want the best for.

Making up stuff like this isn't conducive to anything other than painting men as victims.
