When guys jump in on social media threads, most of it is bad-faith arguing. They’re mad at what we’re pointing out (ie. women having to deal with what men or the patriarchy do to us), so they angrily deflect by accusing us of not caring about men.
Otherwise it’s societal though. We’re the ones who take care of people, (including grown men, a lot of the time), so when we put ourselves first by forming support networks, it goes against the grain.
