"We" (society) are not prioritising women's safety. That's the problem.

Women (not the collective "we") are unapologetically prioritizing their own interests and safety because no one else (Who might that be?) has an interest in doing so.

We are told what we should not do to prevent male on female violence (walk at night, walk alone, run while listening to music, drink alcohol, wear certain clothing) instead of the focus being on what men shouldn't do - rape women.
