For me, the sad thing is, she's not doing that. She's buying into the same mysogynistic ideals that we assume she's bucking. Yes she's saying she doesn't give a flying F what other people think, but all the while, she's ironing out the wrinkles and elevating her cheekbones. She isn't allowing herself to age outwardly, and she's perpetuating the demand that women in the public eye must retain a youthful beauty.
