Um, I was beginning to feel slightly depressed at the realisation that this article proposes men embracing feminism - for their own benefit. I mean, I know we have to give you some incentive, but it'd be lovely if some of you could actually do it for women.

Then I read - "it is important to recognize that women are fully capable of advocating for their own interests," ... Um, not really. We are interrupted, shouted down, Mansplained to, tone-policed and silenced, - so it'd be really great if men could notice that when it's happening, and perhaps call it out.

And then came "Women have already done much of the work for themselves" . Again NO.

There's a reason why there are so many of us still writing about it ...
