This is a great article and very hard to read if you’re a white woman. But we should read it and then sit and think about it.
For all the white women on here expressing outrage, think about all the times you’ve tried to explain to a (white) guy something about his privilege, or discrimination against you. Remember the rage or frustration you feel when he interjects with “Not all men” or worse, just dismisses your experience as meaningless or even nonexistent.
You’re a white woman; you can’t possibly put yourself in the shoes of a non-white person any more than guys get what it’s like not to be a guy. If you don’t like what you’re reading, then scroll on, but don’t call it BS.
