There is no need for division. As I mentioned, I have two sons (and one daughter). I see the responsibilities in parenting them as different but not an either-or, and I have never postulated anything else. Presumably our aims are the same but it's a different route when dealing with boys and girls.

However, every time you (or anyone) 'both sides' a discussion like this, you do exactly what I'm talking about in the piece. I was talking about a specific women's issue and you've brought in the plight of boys and men.
