The excuses for this woman are revolting and ridiculous. My mother is in her 80s and she doesn't come out with racist BS like this.

The thing is, women like Lady Hussey are raised from an early age to be highly sensitive to social nuances and cues.

The fact the Fulani was clearly not interested in her line of questioning should have been a massive cue to Lady H to drop it. Lady H even joked that she was going to have to prize the information out of Fulani so she acknowledged the stone-walling.

That right there should have been enough.
