So here's the thing, whether or not you 'still have it' at 60, it's not really about that. It's the power he got from being able to do that and knowing that you weren't going to make a fuss. There's a reason he did it to you and not another woman. You were like a prized possession, so to speak. You were the one he was guaranteed to get away with - that night.

Scream again.

And please don't judge yourself for not doing what you think you should have done. Old habits die hard and you put yourself second to the feelings of everyone else. As we were trained to do.

Next time tho - sidle up to him, and whispper sweetly but with the right amount of threat -
