Sadly, many studies and anecdotal reports show that this too can be a problem. If you're not wearing a ring, the assumption will still be that if you're under about 45, you might go off and have babies at any point. (And of course, if you're over what looks like 'child-bearing age' you're probably too old for them anyway.)
