One thing I'd like to add is that while we're empathising with boys, we must continue to look out for girls. The cultural shift needed with boys and young men is undeniable and must happen, but it will take time. Meanwhile, girls are still being harassed and assaulted, and that can't be allowed.

The UK government's rapid review of sexual harassment in school's (June 2021) revealed that an alarming number of girls didn't bother reporting harassment and abuse because they thought nothing would be done about it. That's unacceptable and sends a terrible message to them.
