Not forgetting all the ‘other stuff’ like kid or pet health appointments, household maintenance issues, etc.
However, when we adopt the “it’s quicker to do it myself” approach, we really can’t then expect anything to change. What I’ve found works, over decades of marriage, is to hand over entire categories — bill paying, garden work, vet stuff, cooking (in my case), etc. That way, not only are the delineations clear, but any deficiencies are owned by the person who’s responsible for it.
