There's nothing wrong with believing or espousing magic - just so long as you don't expect others to live by it. That's what this woman is doing, and because it impacts women more negatively than the men who are free to roam and swan off to 'elsewhere', it is mysogynistic. As EB says, it gives men the license to live a free-er life than women without recrimination.
