No one is suggesting that women are murdered at a greater rate. The problem is that both men and women are murdered mostly - by men. However, many many more of those murders involve some element of sexual or domestic abuse and rape, which does not occur with male on male violence.
As for "There is no movement right now about protecting men's lives, just women's." - please feel free to organise the movement. Or are you implying that women should do that too?
