I've written on Medium that men need to learn how to take rejection. We see it (their inability) every day in non violent ways too.
Men who simply won't take no for an answer; who see lack of interest as an opening gambit. A woman's "No" is never enough. It has to be qualified and then negotiated.
I'm sitting in an airport and have just seen a guy approach a woman and ask if he could sit at her table. (Plenty of other seats available.) She politely declined and instead of being graceful, he rolled his eyes and made some kind of exasperated noise, while dramatically flinging his backpack over his shoulder and walking off. Yes, he was probably embarrassed, but he put himself in that situation.
