It's an insult to decent men when we promote or even just don't call out the idea that men have no control and it's up to women not to provoke them. Most men manage to leave drunk women alone. (I've just written about Drunkenness being No Defence).

However, whether we like it or not, we (as a sociaty) are still letting boys be boys. Take the Wimbledon tennis tournament that's just ended. Despite bullying and manipulative behavious in his match against Tsitsipas, where Tsitsipas ended up with more fines, Nick Kyrgios gets away with it. Even two femle commentators after that match were of the opinion that not only will biys be boys, but "you've got to expect something like this with Kyrgios."

I remember thinking at that time that we were seeing abusser-like behaviour. Sure enough, within days we hear that he's charged with assauling an ex-girlfiend. (Innocent until proven guilty.)

It's not ok and we should always call it out.
