If you’re a feminist then you’ll know that going after someone’s history or character before the facts are established is the epitome of putting the woman on trial instead of the accused.
You can’t cherry pick which women to allow to have their say. It doesn’t work like that. We can’t support Dr. Blasey Ford and then stand back while Reade is judged in the media. She should be allowed to have her say in a more formal setting, and then questioned about her facts. And while that’s being done, we should also be hearing from the twenty-plus accusers of the other presidential candidate.
(And btw, I’m a Dem. I’m just trying not to be a hypocrite.)
