"If men can’t accept the fact that women experience sexism in almost every arena of their lives, from an early age, we’re just wasting our time trying to make them understand."

While it sometimes feels like this, I don't think we should stop saying it. The more we say it's sexism, the more it will sink in that it is. We don't have to wait for their "understanding", we just have to keep saying it.

I too, remember the days when girls were taught Home Ec and boys did the 'manly' stuff; at my Girls only high school, we had to address our reports to our fathers; I remember when it was deemed not a big deal to have t***y posters up in warehouse break rooms and a corporate job where I was sent home one day for turning up in tailored trousers. We've all evolved from there, so while it's glacial, there is progress.
