I wrote recently about how girls and women have to give up being so nice (to everyone else), often at their own expense. We are raised that way and it's time to push back.

Speaking to a group of high school girls last week though, reconfirmed that a lot of them don't even know when behavior is inappropriate. We all have to do a much better job of helping them identify boundaries before we can encourage them to voice them.
