I had back surgery a few years ago and was given Percocet as I was coming out from the general anesthetic. I threw up for almost 24 hours, and everyone initially assumed it was because of the general. My symptoms were exactly the same - nausea, sweaty & dizzy.

I'd actually had Percocet before, many moons ago, and no symptoms. I guess there's no way of knowing how you're going to react, but it should all be taken very seriously.
