I can’t speak to the race/colour issue but as a woman, I know there are many men out there operating as ‘pillars of the community’ and behaving abominably at the same time. It’s shocking and embarrassing when they cross the line with you, and calling it out is made even more difficult because no one else can believe it either. We literally never know who it could be.
