Great article. (I love "The Confidence Code, btw).

The confidence thing is also reinforced once you've got that job as men are more often promoted on their potential while women are appraised on past performance. If anyone's looking at the future when interviewing women it's to ask a) if she's planning a family (which of course, they shouldn't be asking) and b) if she will be able to "juggle" said family and work.
