I, and many women in the field of feminism and sexism, are pretty fed up with being told to soften the tone, rein it in and 'be nice'. It's just more of the same - men controlling the narrative and expecting women to go at their pace.

Another phrase is "that's not helpful" - when women are assertive or when we call out sexism.. Dude, I'm not always here to help you. I'm here to stand up for myself and other women.
