Excellent.

It (almost) makes me laugh when people say "She's ruining his life/job/reputation/family."

Why? Because she mentioned the things he did - which are the things that are damaging to reputation etc and which he didn't bother to think about beforehand. She did nothing; he took care of it all.

In short, we're expecting women, after the fact. to take responsibility for the things the guy shold have considered before he did what he did.
