For me, your last point nails it all. I have had several Twitter conversations (if you can call them that) this week with men who insist that equity means women leaving men in the dust, not caring about them, subjugating them etc etc.

It's no wonder they don't want us anywhere near equal if they think we are going to treat them like they have treated women.
