Easily, as you'll see from the comments here, for every woman who has a horror story, there's a woman who almost-enjoyed her delivery. I had both versions and it didn't put me off; it's just something you get through.

If that's your only reason for not wanting children, it might be worth reading a few more of the positive experiences. I'm not sugar-coating it but when you look at how many women willingly do it again, it's obviously not always bad.
