I was an adult at the time and I'm not sure you understand what happened. Lewinsky would have given anything for this not to have become public. She was used by people (Starr, Tripp etc) to get at Clinton, and the whole thing became an impeachment because he lied under oath.

And she (the one who wasn't cheating on anyone) came out of it far, far worse. Those of us whom you might call 'loyalists' (I prefer 'feminists who are disgusted at her treatment') are angry at the double standards, just as we were at Anita Hill's experiences.

It's too bad that you're sick of hearing about it - because it's still going on today. Predatory professors, while obviously not as elevated in position as presidents, are still using their positions and influence this way and young women are still coming off worse when the whole sorry messes are revealed.
