As someone closer to 60 than 50 now (gulp — when did that happen?), this would be an interesting experiment to watch. I’m saying that because in my experience, many older women complain of becoming “invisible”, and the only way to avoid this is to make more, rather than less of an effort. It’s one thing to not want to be judged on your looks, but quite another (in my opinion) to vanish or just not be considered at all. I would be interested to hear how this went.
